Direk Joyce Bernal is ecstatic to be working with Regine Velasquez and Aga Muhlach again after 10 years.
“Tense si Aga nung first shooting day,” she says. “Nahawa ako. Parang ‘di ko alam ang ginagawa ko (laughs). Reg kept laughing even if Ags didn’t stop making her asar till we packed up.
“Aga plays an Umboy or an Umbrella Boy. He makes instant affidavits beside government offices. Regine portrays a high-class fixer. She’s got many connections. Sa sobrang maabilidad niya, kaya niya i-trace ang family tree ni Angelina Jolie at i-connect sa family tree niya (laughs).”
Direk Joyce admits that their working relationship has improved through the years. “Shooting with Reg and Aga brings back memories of the three of us not understanding each other before,” she reveals. “We were in a different state of mind then at kanya kanya kami ng eccentricities. We all love the first and second movie we made and are so happy to be together again. Nothing much has changed. Tumanda lang kami ng bongga!”
