The buzz is Joyce cannot wrap up shoot of “Of All the Things,” the Aga Muhlach and Regine Velasquez starrer, as she’s always intoxicated. Allegedly, the project has dragged for two years and is not ready to screen because of this. Another reason given is Aga Muhlach’s weight problem.

Joyce’s drinking is an old issue. It started when she directed Piolo Pascual and Regine in “Paano Kita Iibigin” which made the line producers give up as Joyce was drinking red wine with the stars on the set. When one is high with alcohol, that made a big difference!

STIR’s squealers exposed all causes as wrong! Shoot started mid-year last year so its not even a year long.

Aga has a weight trouble alright but the major hitch on his side was the US vacation with Charlene Gonzales and twins Atasha and Andres he took last December which lasted until early January the next year. But there’s nothing out of order about that as producer Viva Films knew about his annual US vacation.

Another cause was Regine’s television series.

It’s Joyce television work with GMA-7 that’s the main cause of the delay. This is the reason she decided not to accept the “Endless Love” drama series to allow her to concentrate on her film projects, the Aga-Regine movie and Judy Ann Santos and Sarah Geronimo’s “Hating Kapatid.” “Hating Kapatid” has taken priority status as far as Joyce is concerned due to Judy Ann’s pregrancy. She committed to finish it by this April when her bump is still not visible.

The real cause of delay is the stars and the director’s loaded schedules that conflicts with the film’s own shoot schedule. STIR’s previous report that “Of All The Things” will open in June 2010 is no longer true as the film is not yet finished and screening cannot be scheduled.
