Aga-Regine not really a love team but..

They are not really a loveteam in the strict sense, but in Viva
Films' back-to-romance offering, ''Dahil May Isang Ikaw,'' Aga
Muhlach and Regine Velasquez cut quite an item, perfect in a
love story calculated to make moviegoers feel good long after
they leave the moviehouse.
''Regine is the type who's easy to like and love,'' admits Aga.
''I didn't know that she's so much fun in person, a natural
comedienne.''
In the movie directed by Joyce Bernal (scriptwriter is Mel del
Rosario), Aga plays a conservative businessman from Cebu engaged
to be married to his 'yes woman' of a girlfriend (Aileen
Damiles), while Regine plays a girl from a dysfunctional family
who runs her own forwarding business. After their paths cross in
an accident (where Regine's pick-up bumps Aga's expensive car),
their worlds suddenly change, with Aileen holding an empty bag
in the end.
''He's such a joy to work with,'' Regine returns Aga's
compliment. ''Madali rin siyang mahalin.''
The other loveteam (a real one) in ''Dahil May Isang Ikaw'' is
that of Kim delos Santos and Dino Guevarra which already has a
following of their own. Kim plays Regine's sister and Dino, her
ardent suitor. The possessive Regine doesn't want Kim to fall in
love yet and her problem is how to stop Kim from getting
attracted to Dino.
Also cast in the movie are Gloria Romero and Gloria Diaz.
