Aga, Regine Reunite

AGA Muhlach, Regine Velasquez and director Joyce Bernal got a chance
to become bosom friends while they were filming "Dahil Ba sa Kanya,"
their first film together. The movie, produced by Viva Films, was a
box-office hit.
Now the trio are together anew in a movie, again produced by Viva Films.
In a meeting Aga had with direk Joyce and Mel del Rosario, the story
and scriptwriter, at the Shangri-La EDSA Coffee Shop, they had a happy
time discussing the movie. Too bad, Regine was having a rehearsal for a
concert. Reason why she was unable to join them.
"We will surely enjoy making this movie again," Aga said.
"Isa uli itong heartwarming production. Nakikinita ko na. Talagang I've longed
na makatrabaho muli silang tatlo. It was also Mel, if you recall, who
wrote the story and script of 'Dahil May Isang Ikaw.'"
"This new movie of Aga and Regine is far from being just a comedy,"
declared direk Joyce. "More poignant ito than the first one. Marami
rin silang mga romantic scenes dito. We promise to make Aga and Regine
a team to beat with this movie. Just like the team up of Vilma (Santos)
and Christopher (de Leon). They were never romantically involved and yet
every time they do a movie together, kumikita ito ng limpak limpak.
"Ang gusto ko for this movie is to develop not just a big but also a
loyal following for Aga and Regine. As far as I am concerned, they are
two of the most admired and professional performers we have. I believe
that it was their convincing performances in 'Dahil May Isang Ikaw'
which made it a perfect film for everyone," director Joyce further stated
